Dr. Karr was born and raised in Magnolia, Texas where he met his wife of 33 years (Kerrie) while attending Magnolia High School. Together, they have 2 daughters -Megan (24) and Taylor (21). After graduating from Magnolia high School, Dr. Karr attended college at the University of Tampa on a military scholarship and received his bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He then attended the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio where he received his doctorate in medicine and was promoted to captain. After a 3-year residency in pediatrics, Dr. Karr received his board certification in pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics and then served four years in the U.S. Army Medical Corps at the rank of Major. Dr. Karr then left the military to return home and enter private practice in 1998 in Tomball, Texas. In addition to private practice, Dr. Karr teaches physiology and microbiology at Lone Star College and also teaches Sunday school at Harvest Bible church where his family attends.

Dr. Rose has been a Pediatrician at Tomball Healthcare for Pediatrics since 2003. He attended medical school at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He also served as Pediatric Chief Resident at the University of Texas Health Science Center during his training. After Dr. Rose completed his training, he initially joined a group of 6 pediatricians in Sherman, Texas where he practiced for 8 years before joining Dr. Karr at Tomball Healthcare for Pediatrics in 2003. Dr. Rose is Board Certified by The American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has professional memberships in American Academy of Pediatrics,Texas Medical Association and The Harris County Medical Society.

Dr. Rose lives in Tomball with his beautiful wife Shonia and their four active adult children. They are members at the Church Without Walls( Brookhollow Baptist Church) in Houston. Outside side of work, Dr. Rose enjoys golfing, working in the yard and spending time with his family.
